Saskatchewan = sunsets to rave about, more golf courses per capita than anywhere, hunting, fishing, farming and pleasurable people. Doesn’t sound so bad!

France as seen from the sea. Put this on your list if you are a fan of: sailing, dolphins, wine, architecture, old ruins mixed with glitz and glam, and glorious shore lines.

ship_bermuda

Bermuda. A spot in the middle of the Atlantic, 600 miles away from anything else. That alone is what makes this exciting to visit. If you are into snorkeling, kite boarding, diving, climbing, beautiful turquoise colored water beaches and caves then put this little atoll on your list.

Welcome!

My husband has a unique career - he's an 'extreme athlete.' His job has taken him to the most beautiful places on earth. He has appeared in many magazines, and on television and films all over the world. So when we travel I'm usually finding less extreme things to do. I like adventure, but not to his level! Throughout our travels, I tend to focus on arts, culture and foods, where as he explores rivers, rocks and wilderness.

I've lived in 6 countries on 4 continents, and have travelled solo to many places. I have no greater passion for the earth, it's environments, and cultures. I have studied adventure tourism and theatre and Tim is a zoologist, and rock and ice climber working with Mountain Hardwear, Black Diamond, Adidas Eyewear.

You will see throughout the blog how we meet in the middle when travelling, despite our differences! There's something for everyone.
